Sale Permit & Ordinance:
To obtain a Outdoor Sale Permit, please come by Finance Building located at 104 S Central. The application fee is $10.00.
The yellow permits must be displayed on the date of the garage sale for Officers to see.

Sign Ordinance:
Below is the Sign Ordinance for the City of Ferris concerning sale signs:
- (A) No sign shall be erected or maintained in such a manner as to obstruct free and clear vision or movement of traffic whether vehicular or pedestrian.
- (B) No sign or portion of any sign shall be erected upon or over any public right-of-way, unless specifically exempted under this chapter.
- (C) No sign shall be erected or maintained in such a manner as to interfere with, obstruct the view of, or be confused with any authorized traffic sign, signal, or device.
- (D) Any sign located in the public right-of-way or otherwise in violation of this section may be removed by the Building Official or a police officer immediately without notice, the costs for removal being charged to the owner or permittee as provided in § 152.09(A) of this code.
