Biography:

Bobby LaBorde joins the City of Ferris with over 27 years of experience working with school districts, in particular by serving as their Chief Financial Officer and Interim Superintendent of Schools. Serving over 2,500 employees before his retirement from DeSoto ISD, Bobby is considered a mentor and strategic financial executive to CFOs across the State.

LaBorde has held leadership roles and been involved in financial leadership and responsible for:

• Over $100MM budgets;
• Over $64MM in bond insurance;
• Over 2,500 employees;
• Savings of over $4.4MM to the organization;
• Recognized as a leader in the financial field.

Bobby has been called upon to guide organizations during times of prosperity and challenging times. His leadership and ability to navigate complex financial situations has made him well-respected and sought after CFO and leaders across the State of Texas.
