Update
Power Outages: The City of Ferris is aware of backed up phone lines with Oncor. Oncor is currently addressing power outages across the area starting from the highest impacted communities.

Vegetative Debris: We are asking that any vegetative debris on your property be moved to the curb side. Please DO NOT place vegetative debris in waste management receptacles. If possible, debris can be bundled in stacks of approximately 4 feet in length and 75 pounds of weight. To schedule a debris pickup please contact City Hall and speak with Donna Dixon at (972)-544-2110.
Residents have now been given TWO dump passes valid through 10/31/2019. To obtain dump pass please bring a driver’s license and water bill to the address 104 south central, Ferris TX, 75125.

“First responders are currently assessing damages from winds throughout Ferris.

We are asking that any vegetative debris on your property be moved to the curb side. Please DO NOT place vegetative debris in waste management receptacles. The City of Ferris was impacted by straight line winds on October 20, 2019, at approximately 9:50pm. We have been working with OEM of Ellis County since 11pm, to assess the impact of any potential damages that have occurred.
