Juvenile Defendant:

If you are a Juvenile Defendant (Age 17 or younger) you MUST call the Court, with a parent, to schedule a Court Date to see the Judge.

Driving Record Information:

Want to keep your Citation off of your Driving Record?

To process a DSC (Driver Safety Course) Request:

  • Download the Request for Driving Safety Course Form.
  • You must hold a Valid Class C TEXAS Driver's License.
  • You must have Current Auto Insurance showing your name listed as a Covered Driver.​
  • You cannot have taken the Driver Safety Course in the past 12 months.
  • A Cashier's Check or Money Order for $144.00 ($169.00 for School Zone Violations).
  • WE DO NOT ACCEPT Personal Checks or Mailed in Cash.
  • Once you have completed and submitted your DSC Cert of Completion and Certified Driving Record, your case along with any balance will be Dismissed.

*If you were traveling 25 mph or more over the speed limit, you are not eligible.

To process a Deferred Disposition Request:

  • Download the Request for Deferred Disposition Form.
  • You must hold a Valid form of Identification.
  • You will be placed on a 180 day probation.
  • $50 will be added to your total Fine amount per Violation.
  • If you are 25 years old or Younger, you are required to complete a Driver Safety Course as a condition of a Deferred Disposition.
  • WE DO NOT ACCEPT Personal Checks or Mailed in Cash.

*If you were traveling 25 mph or more over the speed limit, you are not eligible.


Contest Your Citation

Bench Trial:

A Bench Trial is a Non-Jury Trial where a Defendant wants the Judge to hear the case evidence, and is done in a Court setting in front of the Prosecutor and the Judge. You are entering a Plea of Not Guilty and you are requesting a Bench Trial.

  • Download the Bench Trial Form.
  • You must complete the Plea form and mail/ deliver to the Court Offices.
  • You will be placed on a Pre-Trial Docket to appear in Court.
  • After Completing a Pre-Trial Court Appearance, you will be scheduled for your Bench Trial.

​Jury Trial:

A Jury Trial is a Trial where a Defendant can plea his/her case in front of a panel of their peers and wants their decision to be made by the Jury Panel. This is done in a Court setting in front of the Prosecutor, Judge, and six Jurors. You are entering a Plea of Not Guilty and you are requesting a Jury Trial.

  • Download the Jury Trial Form.
  • You must complete the Plea form and mail/ deliver to the Court Offices.
  • You will be placed on a Pre-Trial Docket to appear in Court.
  • After Completing a Pre-Trial Court Appearance, you will be scheduled for your Jury Trial.

Payment Plan Request:

  • Download the Request for Payment Plan Form.
  • Will close as a Guilty Judgment.
  • you have the option to pay in full within 30 days, otherwise a $15 Time Payment Fee will be added on the 31st day. 
  • Payment made monthly of $100 until case is paid in full.
  • These payments can be paid using Traffic Payment.
  • If you have an ACTIVE WARRANT, call the Court for more payment options.

Community Service Application:

  • Download the Application for Community Service Form.
  • The Presiding Judge will use the Community Service Application to determine whether or not you are indigent, as well as your request to perform community service in lieu of paying the fines and costs.
  • The Presiding Judge will require you to file along with your application for community service, a copy of your last filed federal income tax return with your wage statements for that year (e.g. W-2, Form 1099), your last three most recent pay stubs, and/or unemployment check stubs.
